Bishops and Special Guests

While participation in the Gathering is limited to congregations — youth and their adult leaders — and volunteers, some individuals are invited to join us in New Orleans as special guests. These include bishops, synod staff with direct roles in synodical youth ministry, select churchwide organization staff, ecumenical guests and sometimes international groups sponsored by the Service and Justice home area of the churchwide organization.

If this is you, please stay tuned to Gathering communications via our website and social media. Payments and housing will differ depending on how you are involved. As we progress in planning, programs will take shape and we will have more information about how to include you. We will make sure you are kept informed! Look for more instructions when Gathering registration opens in September 2023.
